Roasted Dodo

A mainstay of the Harvest Day Feast, we have taken an entire dodo and roasted it in a buttery tarragon sauce until nice and crispy and then butterflied it for easier eating and enjoyment.

Glazed Hog Steak

Not a turkey kind of person? That's fair, roughly 25% of the Meili's staff isn't either! That's why we took the juiciest cuts of hog we could find, basted them in a sweet spiced rum and maple syrup glazed, and then baked it to maximum juiciness.

Harvest Day Stuffing

Typically stuffed inside the dodo we chose a different approach to maintain a more vegan recipe that will taste good for everybody. Cornbread, celery, and onions soaked with a sage-spiced vegetable broth and baked with until nice and soft. Will definitely compliment either entree you choose.

Mashed Popotoes

No lalafells were harmed in the making of this creamy baked dish. Boiled golden popotoes, garlic and butter baked in an oven until almost golden brown, served with your choice of butter, brown gravy, or "cottage style" with beef and vegetables underneath it.

Mushroom Wellington

Just because you're vegan doesn't mean you can't enjoy our Harvest Day Feast. Caramelized onions and a combination of sautéed and seared mushrooms stuffed into a vegan puff pastry to provide you with an entree that is a little crunch on the outside and chewy in the middle.

Haywood Casserole

When we asked our chef, Fitz, to aid in one of the entrees he turned it down, insisting that he instead make the green bean casserole. Green beans, mushrooms, onions and bacon mixed with a secret cream-based sauce and topped with melted cheese and fried onions. The chef claims the recipe is a "secret" passed down to him by his mother.

Pumpkin Ale

A seasonal brew brought to you by Sunflower Libations, this light amber ale pint has graham cracker and caramel scent notes and an almost pumpkin pie-like flavor.

Apple Pumpkin Cider

Combining the smooth texture of pumpkin cider with the sweet afternotes of apple cider this drink brings the best of both worlds to your Harvest Day Feast. Stirred and garnished with a cinnamon stick.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Just because fall is coming to a close doesn't mean there's not enough space for a fall favorite! By popular demand, we are serving our popular latte mixed with pumpkin puree, vanilla, and star anise. Topped with a heavy helping of whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon and nutmeg. Get it while you can, cause once winter comes it too disappears.

Maple Whiskey Sour

Kinnison insisted we needed at least one cocktail on our Harvest Day Feast menu, and boy did he pick well! Combining maple whiskey, lemon juice, apple cider, and cinnamon apple garnishes this autumnal take on a whiskey sour delivers a balance of sweet, spice, and boldness.

The Linme Family Pie

Apparently family recipes are kept more secure than anything else at Meili's. Passed down from his father, Talu'a presents this sweet and nutty pecan pie that bears hints of rum and espresso. Sure to put a smile on your face and punctuate your meal right. Whipped cream is optional but recommended.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodle Cookies

Known to quell even the most fiery of Harvest Day Feast arguments, it is a proven fact that no person can remain mad when handed a Snickerdoodle cookie. These soft, chewy pumpkin cookies are topped with an almost irresistible blend of nutmeg and cinnamon sugar, they practically melt in your mouth and soul.

Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake

Choices can be hard, especially when it comes to desserts. Somedays you think you want a pumpkin pie, others you want a cheesecake. We at Meili's say "Why not both?" with this delicious, sweet layered pie. Pumpkin on the top, cheesecake on the bottom, with a graham cracker crust, and topped with whipped cream. Eat them together or separately, there is no wrong way to enjoy it.

Personality: Honest, loyal, and hardworking are words that well describe the cowboy turned head honcho of his own adventuring company. While he sometimes has trouble believing in himself, he does the best he can for those he cares about. Backstory: Talu'a is the owner of the Meili's Repose adventuring group, otherwise known as Meili's Thorns. Having been adventuring since he was 14 years old, he knows the ins and outs of how to have a successful mission, as well as when it's necessary to turn tail and run to live another day! He founded Meili's Repose with his boyfriends, Koji and Kyrie, as well as his best friend Kinnison Shields. Despite the happy life he has now, things weren't always so happy for Talu'a, and it's a past that he keeps buried deep.

Backstory: Born and raised in Coldhearth, Kinnison spent his early years as a conscript for the empire as a resistance plant. When the resistance was thwarted he was forced to remain a soldier slave until the Battle of Cartenau when his memories were taken. Employed as a mercenary and a bartender over the years Kinnison became a shoe-in as one of the founding fathers of the Thorns for his tactical prowess and wide network of contacts. These days the older mercenary doesn't spend as much time on the field, but that never means he isn't working.

Koji Mido

Backstory: Born and raised a melon farmer in Yanxia, Koji Mido's life took a turn for the unexpected when his parents were killed and the farmed was razed. Eventually forced to seek refuge in Eorzea Koji would eventually receive the inspiration necessary to become an adventurer while learning the facets of his homeland's combat methods. Young and always eager to fight Koji approaches the majority of situations as a Thorn with pure, unbridled combat.

Backstory: K'chai grew up in a Seeker village in the heard of the Shroud. After his mother was found hiding him, he was taken and brought up by his father and brothers. His father and brothers abused him often to keep him from wanting to be anything but a tia, and when he was old enough he ran away. He was found by the matriarch of a mixed Seeker and Keeper tribe and was taken in, where he slowly earned more and more respect before becoming head hunter for the tribe and as the matron handed her title to her son and his husband, Chai was given the title of head nunh, to be the right hand of the leaders along with a few others that represented the tribe's populace.A tragic incident had his whole tribe wiped off the map while he was visiting in the East, leaving him with no family, but half of the stake of a Kugane company, which is how he remains with income today. Divorced, he now lives with Kyrie, Kinnison, Koji, and Talu'a at the cottage that hosts Meili's Cafe. Being mated to Kyrie, Koji, and now P'lhione, he strives every day to make his family feel loved and safe while trying to recover from his traumatic past.

Passed around the Monetarists to achieve their criminal motives, he eventually fell under the ownership of Teledji Adeledji until the lalafell’s untimely death.Finding his chance to escape the shackles of exploitation, he snuck out of the city on the first ship to Limsa Lominsa and befriended the leader of a local biker gang after saving his life during a bar fight. Upon earning the trust of the other gang members, he worked his way up the ranks before becoming second-in-command and being given responsibility over the gang’s activities in Kugane.
